What we do

Our services

Pick one to see what's involved. Not sure which you need? Describe what you're looking at and we'll tell you straight.

Bush hogging

A rotary cutter — the brush hog — runs off the back of the tractor and chops down tall weeds, dense brush, and small saplings. Think of it as an industrial lawnmower built for rough, overgrown ground that a regular mower won't touch.

Best time to call is before the saplings get established. Once woody growth gets ahead of you, the first cut takes longer and costs more.

Good for
  • Pastures & fields
  • Vacant lots
  • Fence lines
  • Trails
  • Hunting property

Stump grinding

A grinder chews the stump down below grade so the spot can be mowed over, sodded, or planted instead of worked around. We handle what's left behind after a tree comes down, including the surface roots that catch a mower deck.

When you call, have the stump's rough diameter and whether we can get equipment to it — those two things drive the price more than anything else.

Good for
  • After tree removal
  • Old stumps
  • Fence lines
  • Before sod goes down

Debris cleanup

Brush piles, downed limbs, storm mess, old fence wire, leftover scrap. We gather it up, load it out, and leave the ground clean behind us instead of leaving you a pile to deal with later.

Want it kept on the property instead? We can stack it out of the way rather than haul it off — just say so when we walk the job.

Good for
  • Storm damage
  • After clearing
  • Rental turnover
  • Before you list

Material delivery

Rock, gravel, mulch, mushroom compost, and similar bulk material hauled straight to your property — up to 5 tons a load. Tell us where you want it set and that's where it goes. Bigger job? We'll run more than one load and tell you up front how many it takes.

Ask about spreading when you order. We can put the material down where it belongs instead of leaving you a pile at the end of the driveway.

We haul
  • Rock & gravel
  • Mulch
  • Mushroom compost
  • And more

Spreading

We can spread loads of rock, gravel, or mulch around gardens, driveways, or houses. The material goes down where you want it, so you're not left moving a mountain with a wheelbarrow on a Saturday.

Tell us it's coming when you book the load, so we plan the time for it that same trip.

Good for
  • Driveways
  • Around the house
  • Garden beds
  • Pads & walkways

Sod installation

Ground prepped and fresh sod laid tight, with straight seams and clean edges around beds and walks. Whether it's a full yard or patching the bare spots that never seem to fill in on their own.

New sod lives or dies on watering the first couple of weeks. We'll walk you through what it needs before we leave.

Good for
  • New lawns
  • Bare spots
  • Edges & borders

Flower beds

New beds shaped and built where you want them, or tired ones cleaned out, re-edged, and topped off with fresh mulch or rock. Since we haul the material ourselves, it shows up with the crew instead of costing you a separate delivery.

Mulch or decorative rock — tell us the look you're after and we'll bring the right material for it.

Good for
  • New beds
  • Re-edging
  • Fresh mulch
  • Decorative rock

Questions

Frequently asked

The things people ask us most before they book. If yours isn't here, call and ask — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.

What is bush hogging, exactly?

Bush hogging is a heavy-duty land clearing method that uses a rotary cutter — a "brush hog" — attached to a tractor to chop down tall weeds, dense brush, and small saplings. It works like an industrial lawnmower for rough, overgrown fields, cutting through growth that would stop a regular mower cold.

How much material can you deliver at once?

Up to 5 tons per load. That covers rock, gravel, mulch, mushroom compost, and similar bulk material. Bigger jobs are no problem — we just run more than one load, and we'll tell you up front how many it will take.

Do you spread the material or just drop it?

We can spread loads of rock, gravel, or mulch around gardens, driveways, or houses. Just tell us where it's going when you book, so we plan the time for it.

Do you haul the debris away, or leave it on site?

Either way — your call. We can load it out and haul it off, or stack it somewhere out of the way on the property if you'd rather keep it. Tell us which when we walk the job.

My field has real trees in it, not just brush. Can you still cut it?

A rotary cutter is built for tall weeds, thick brush, and small saplings. Once you're into established trees or stumps, that's a different piece of equipment and a different conversation. Call and describe what's out there — or send photos — and we'll tell you honestly whether bush hogging is the right tool for it.

How often should a field be bush hogged?

It depends on what you want out of it. Pasture and fields kept in regular shape usually get knocked down a couple of times through the growing season. Ground that's been sitting a year or more takes a heavier first cut, then it's easy to maintain after that. The longer you wait, the thicker the saplings get.

Do you work on small residential lots, or just acreage?

Both. Flower beds and sod patches are as welcome as a pasture that's gotten away from somebody. Give us a call with what you have in mind and we'll get you on the schedule.

How do I get an estimate?

Call 850-843-4940, email warriorcreekoutdoorservices@gmail.com, or send us the request form and we'll get back to you. Estimates are free. Have a rough idea of the acreage or square footage, how tall the growth has gotten, and how wide your gate or driveway access is — photos help a lot too.
